An employee of the National Chest Diseases Institute and Hospital in Mohakhali, the capital, was shot by miscreants. His name is Zaman Hossain (40). He was shot near the hospital on Friday night. He is the former general secretary of the hospital’s Class IV Employees’ Association. Zaman Hossain has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. His brother Salauddin Sajal told Prothom Alo that Zaman lives in the staff quarters next to the National Chest Diseases Institute and Hospital. He left his house at around 8:15 pm on Friday and sat down to drink tea at a shop. At that time, two masked men shot him. At that time, he was shot near his right eye.
